We could probably do with a sticky defining virginity as well....
Being a virgin is whatever YOU make it. If you think oral sex takes your virginity, then that's your definition of a virgin. Some rape victims, even though they've had vaginal intercourse, still consider themselves to be virgins because they didn't 'lose it' willingly. I personally say that once you've had vaginal intercourse, willingly or not, you are no longer a virgin. But that's just MY opinion. Also, to girls, just because your 'cherry' is 'popped' doesn't mean that you are no longer a virgin. Your 'cherry' is actually your hymen - a thin layer of skin which covers the opening to the vagina. It has some small holes in to let out menses (period blood.) Some girls break this using tampons, or doing exercise like bike riding or horse riding. Some girls are born without one. Chances are, it will break when you first have sex (if it hasn't broken already) and that is why it often hurts/bleeds the first time. Being a virgin is NOT a physical thing. It's entirely mental. So asking "Am I a virgin?" is a bit pointless, because it's a question only YOU can answer. I hope this cleared some things up. And for the record, yes, I am a virgin

I may have been sexually abused but I still have my hymen I was proven to be a virgin by examination therefore to me virginity is anyone who has proof they're virgins. I was active in gymnastics and ballet so I don't really get how you lose it other than with sex. Also I was 10 when I had my proof and the period thing must be a myth. Because I had my period for almost 2 years and I still had my hymen. I think more people are born without it than generally believed.
