Depends on the friend. My former best friend told me all about her sex life and was obsessed with trying to get details about mine, but she was a gossip and I lied to her for nine months about being a virgin when I wasn't. I have certain friends who I talk to about sex overall. I'm a sex educator, so I get more questions about sex generally than about my sex life, happily.

Well, my sex life is nonexistant until July, but my very best friends and I are pretty open about the topic. It's fun talking about, especially with the newlywed - she tells me what kinds of things to expect and all the fun (and not so fun) parts.

Our philosophy as best friends is that we share everything with one another. We're so close that there's nothing that's really "uncomfortable" to talk about. They're my go-to girls for everything so I don't see my sex life as being any different.

My boyfriend prefers a little privacy on the subject, plus a few of my friends don't really "approve" of the speed my boyfriend and I are moving at, so we keep it to ourselves. My two best, female friends we are VERY open with each other about sex...lol. We even go into crazy detail, and we're all comfortable with it. As for everyone else. That topic isn't really ever taboo with me. So I am always comfortable talking about it. It's just a matter of how comfortable the other person I am talking to is.

I talk about sex all the time, not necessarily my own experiences though. I think I'm probably the most open person about it among my friends, actually. It really differs, though. I mean, a few years ago, I was always embarrassed about talking about things like that. If it makes you uncomfortable, though, no one's forcing you to discuss it. And if anyone ever does, no one's forcing you to stay in their immediate proximity.

I talk about my sex life with my friends all the time. There is nothing better than sitting around a kitchen table drinking margaritas talking about the crazy sex you have.
