No No Hair Removal - April 9th 2012, 12:04 PM

I just saw an advert for this and got curious. It's a device that removes hair by sending a pulse of heat and crystallising the hair. I'm not sure how it works, but the ad said it had "virtually no pain" Has anyone tried this? And does it actually hurt at all?

The only site I can find for the company is here.

I'm not planning on buying it, I'm just curious if it's really that good and if it hurts.

It sounds like laser hair removal at home to me. AND, we all know that anything that is laser removed is going to hurt :P. But, I suppose with today's technology, it doesn't have too. I know a few years back, they came out with this device called the Zeno, for acne, that put some heat on the zit, and in days it was gone. THAT was painless, so maybe it's the same thing.

I'll just stick with my normal shaving procedure. :P

I may wear the glass slippers; But my hero wears combat boots <3 I love you, Lieutenant

Re: No No Hair Removal - April 9th 2012, 02:47 PM

For me, I never used Zeno because like you said, it got rid of the zit within days. But for me, it went away in in like a day. That, or I got annoyed and got rid of it myself

But as far as this hair removal treatment goes; I've never tried it. In fact, I've not tried any hair removal treatments. Reason being, I don't see the point in going through the pain when I could just shave. Plus, it's heaps cheaper.

But anyways, I am curious to see if this is all it's cracked up to be.
