Thanks. I can't wait to start after summer break. Just hope he isn't to mean. I heard he told a teen mother that she should just drop out.

Well, there may be many different reasons why a professor may "not like" teen mothers. I would reserve judgement till you actually get to class as usually those situations are twisted around. Just realize that no one will be making an exception for you just because you are a teen mother. If you are enrolled in a class, you will be expected to do the same work and to balance home and school life.

A lot of people who say "so and so doesn't like me because of x, y, z" usually are trying to use x, y, z as an excuse of why they should have an exception.

Congratulations on your son. I'm glad that you're still going to school, education is important. I bet it must be a wonderful thought knowing that you have your son to come home to though.

Re: So happy - April 3rd 2014, 03:07 PM

All my schooling is done from home so I'm with him all day. I'm glad its this way though so I can still spend time with him and do work. And his dad is in the picture and is being a big help taking him when I'm talking to a teacher when he isn't working or sleeping. I try to get all my school work done at night so during the day I can spend more time with Vincent - my son - I also clean and do laundry at night. Or when his dad has him.
