Mamma's I have a question. How big does a child need to be before they are removed from a high back booster and placed into one with just the arms that use the regular seat belt?
I don't care if the world knows what my secrets are
According to Babycenter, you can switch your child to a booster seat when they are 4 years old and weigh 40lbs or more, or when their shoulders are higher than the strap slots on the car seat. My boyfriends daughter, 4, is currently in a booster seat. She could have stayed in her car seat for a bit longer but she's on the chubbier side and the straps weren't fitting properly anymore.
