my mom's friend held a party where everyone who came was to bring diapers, apparently you need tons. some thirty odd people came all with at least 2 bags of diapers, and she had those used up within the first month.

I found the first couple months to be pretty tough. It takes some time to adjust to having a new baby.

Do lots of reading and take some classes at the hospital to make yourself feel more prepared.

Most of all, enjoy your time together! You'll wish you had because alone time will be rare.

Be prepared with diapers, wipes, clothes, bottles and formula (even if you plan on breastfeeding, because you never know if you'll need it. We ended up having to supplement), and some clothes and a bassinet. You don't have to overly prepared though because babies don't require half the stuff I thought they did in the first weeks. We just recently even moved our son to his own room.

Enjoy pregnancy! Bond with your child before he is even here. Talk to him, read to him, sing to him. Make it so that he is all ready apart of your routine before he is born.

Try to get yourself used to being on the go because the baby will require all of your time and energy. Get lots of sleep because you'll wish you had after he's here

Start by taking some classes, those seem like fun! You get to meet people just like you, and learn a lot about the process. Start preparing the house slowly so that come delivery day, the baby is the only new thing in the house. Get excited for the baby as well! It's going to be so much fun
