Baby names...are these too weird?

Since I found out that I'm pregnant, my mind has been filled with happy little baby thoughts, especially baby names! But every name I come up with has had my parents and friends asking me why I pick strange names.

So I ask you: are these names too weird?

Here are my top 5 girl and boy names I've picked out (these are first and middle names):

Boy names

• Brock Daniel
• Edward Michael
• Aiden Chance

Girl's Names

• Sabine Dee
• Margaret Anne
• Lena Elizabeth
• Aurora Avery
• Candice April

Boy names
Brock Daniel- Doesn't sound too weird to me.
Edward Michael- Normal =]
Aiden Chance- Cute!
Jonah Markus- Very cute
Parker Jordan- Love it.


Girl's Names
Sabine Dee - Love it.
Margaret Anne- Very standard.
Lena Elizabeth - Mixing a very unique name with something as common as Elizabeth? Interesting choice. I love Lena.
Aurora Avery - I'm not loving the matchy matchy, but I do love both names
Candice April- Not weird at all.

I don't think the names you have chosen are weird at all! There's nothing wrong with a bit of individuality. I love the names you have chosen, especially Aiden and Aurora. (:

I don't think any of those names are really weird.
Some of them are uncommon and some the combinations of first and middle could be seen as weird but children don't often get called by their first and middle names together anyway.

Those names aren't strange at all, there's tons of websites out there too that can help you match first and middle names if you become stuck but those names go just fine.

anyhow, i think more unusual names are better. i wouldn't want my kid to be one of 3 or 4 in his/her class with the same name. so yeah, choose whatever name you like! [although i would stay away from very unusual names that people won't be able to pronounce/spell/understand.

The only thing is the Jonah one. With the Jonahs brothers all big right now, you never know how that will go over. Just something to think about Still cute name though!

Before my miscarriage, I was thinking about names and Peyton Faith was one of my first choices for a girl! :]

And I don't think your choices are strange, I think they'll shine a lot of light on your baby. Some of the names really make me think your child is either going to be some big shot artist or a sporty kid that will go big! Your child will do great things in his/er life.

Unique names are good names! I like Adian Chance, but then again my fiance and I talked about Adian. For the girl Lena Elizabeth. Those are all very cute and unique names though. Just pick a name that will work for a baby and a older person. You want a unique but ever lasting name. My fiance and I for our baby picked Carter Ralph and Chloe Elise. Good luck!

Actually. No, not weird. Now If you named your kid Skyler or someting... That might be weird. I have a friend who just had a daughter, she named her Aurora, and calls her Rory.

i dont think they are weird. Aiden is actually a very common name for little boys now I'm starting to notice. And my little cousins name is Marlena...Lena for short. I like them. I wanted my kids to have names that no other kid in their class would have when they got older lol. But at the time they were born i hadn't heard any other kids with that name, but now. My goodness i take them to the doctor and when they call my boys name 4 different women stand up lol.

I also agree with what Elle said, I think that when names are a little more uncommon, they're better. Some uncommon names are very strange (like impossible to spell and pronounce) but the ones that you picked are great!

I don't think any are too weird, especially when you consider that kids (or anyone) are rarely called by first and middle names. I think any of those would be a good choice.
