Exclamation First injections - March 30th 2010, 06:09 PM

Awwwh it was so bad i couldnt look, I had to get my boyfriend to hold him for me as he screamed because i felt so guilty lol

Just a few questions to poeple who can relate

Did they get abit hot and go off feeds for a bit and hes been sleeping for like 4 hours.. hes 8 weeks. This ever happened to you and what did you do to help them??

No, but shots can make them cranky. Pay attention to his temp, and the way he's acting.. if he does something that worries you then take him in to see his doctor just to be safe.

My son gets a light fever, really sleepy, and cranky after his shots, so all sounds normal to me. I usually give him a little Tylenol once or twice a day to help him.

Yeah, its doesnt get easier... lol. Its seems like the older my son get the harder he screams when he gets them. Its so sad

My son was usually pretty sleepy and cranky after shots too. Like Amy said, just watch for a temperature. The doctor usually warns you that sleepyness and a small fever may happen.

Yeah, it definitely doesn't get any easier! My son's 4 month shots were the worst!! Ugh, I hated it. Almost cried that time, definitely.
