Actually, I considered it with this pregnancy because I have no money, very little family support and a lot of problems with my husband. In the end, there was just no way I could do it though. Especially after I saw my baby on the ultrasound. I just fell in love immediately. I don't know how I'm going to make this work yet, but I'm determined to find a way for my baby.

I haven't but my mum has. She felt like at the time it was the best thing for her. It is something that still affects her from time to time and she has often said that she feels guilty about it but if she had her time again she would do the same again.

I havent but i know someone who has, but it was only because she was on medication at the time which affected the baby so she needed to abort.

If at some point in my life I came to where I'd have to decide whether I'd want one or not, I wouldn't do it, I'd feel so guilty about aborting and I'd probably feel like a terrible person.

I mean, I'm sure my emotions on how I feel are still quite out of wack because of how soon ago it happened.
But, nonetheless, I don't regret it. I grieve - which is normal. I wonder what it would have been. But at the end of the day, I know it was the best choice. I might be a bit upset about it now, but I'm certain that years from now, I won't be looking back and regretting it.

No I have not had one. My mom had one and I found out only about a year ago.
I never plan on having one, I could never abort a baby. Although the only way I would is if there was no chance me or the baby would live through the pregnancy or the birth.

I havent but a friend of mine did have one a few yrs ago.. She did it because she felt pressured by the father- he said if she didnt have the abortion he would never speak to her again, because he didnt want people to find out they were in a relationship. She really wanted that baby but just felt under too much pressure to continue with the pregnancy...
She's no longer in a relationship with him and now has a baby girl.

Well you can feel passionate about something without experiencing it first hand. I mean I'm EXTREMELY passionate about gay rights but I'm straight.

I haven't had an abortion as I am a virgin, but if I were somehow to get pregnant tomorrow I would probably have an abortion, and I wouldn't regret it.

Share this revelation with your pro-life friends! Perhaps it will help to dispel the idea that if abortions are considered socially acceptable then there will be lots and lots of abortions.

i've always been very ANTIabortion. but recently i had a pregancy scare. and it changed my whole prespective. so no, ive never had one, but ive never actually been in that position. and i sure as hell am not about to judge any1 who has.

I used to think that if I got pregnant, I would have an abortion, no question. But now, I'm with someone for whom I feel stronger feelings than I have ever felt for anyone before, and I'm not sure I could do it. We were talking about what we would do one night, and he was talking and said "our baby." It was like my heart melted, and I knew that if I were to get pregnant...the decision would be very difficult.

I hope that no one here has to be in this situation in the future. I know I'd be scared as hell.

No i didnt have one. I was always very anti abortion. Then i was in a really bad situation when i was 16. I got pregnant and i panicked and planned an having an abortion. In the end it didnt matter i lost the baby. But I think i would have went through with the abortion anyway. Im not against abortion anymore, there are some situations where having the baby is just not the right thing to do.

I have never had an abortion and I can honestly say I am not sure what I would do in the future if I became pregnant. It all would depend on my circumstances really. If I needed an abortion though, yes, I would have it and if anyone else had one then that is their decision. I don't really think I have the right to interfere with what other people want to do about their pregnancy.

no, i haven't. & i found out i'm unable to have kids not too long ago so i guess i'll never be in a situation where i'd have to even consider it. i would never judge anyone for making a decision to have an abortion. it's their individual choice and nothing to do with me.

No I havent, but if I ever got into a situation for a possible one, I would consider it. I love babys, and would have one now if I could. But sometimes its not right to bring a child into the world.

I have not. I have had a miscarriage. You can find many posts by me that say without a doubt that if I were to get pregnant again right then I would abort. Now however, I am living with my BF, Kain is in preschool, I am at a great job, and I have a very supportive partner, so NOW if I were to get pregnant I would have the baby ( and get my homebirth I want so bad) But if it had happened two years ago. then I would have been one of the women saying "yep I had one" because at the time I could barely support Kain and myself, bringing another child into the mix would have been selfish. Now it is an entirely different story. But if the situation ever arose again where I wouldnt be able to support another one, then yes I would get one.

I will be having one in the next few weeks, yes.

Its very early on, so Im not attatched to the baby as yet, and I know it is whats best because if I have a child now I will be unable to provide what he/she needs and wants, also my depression means I need to look after myself before anyone else at the moment. Its not an enviroment to bring a kid up in.

I have thought about it but when it come down to it i can't. I know that if things do not work out there is always someone that is looking to adopt a child ,but to take a life that isn't mine i do not think it is right. I do believe that all women should have to right to abort since it is there body and it isn't easy and it does change the woman's body forever but as for me i could never bring myself to do so ( the only time i do not think abortion is a "okay" is when it is used as birth control and someone has many abortions it is unhealthy for the female and it just isn't right in my opin.) I have a 5m old baby girl and i am 3m pregnant

. I know that it is going to be hard but i will find a way.

I haven't ever had one, nor do I think I would ever have one.
I have PCOS and according to the doctor, the chances of my ever actually getting pregnant are slim. So to me a baby is a gift from God. I could not imagine getting rid of a little someone who was living inside of me. Someone who was counting on my to protect them. I can semi-understand abortion in certain instances... such as if the baby was caused from a rape. Otherwise in my opinion, if I were to get pregnant, then obviously I was the one to blame and need to take responsibility for my actions. There is always adoption. I may end up having to adopt some day. I suppose that in my personal opinion that is something to remember, that not all women are lucky enough to become pregnant... It kind of bothers those of us who can't, that some women who are lucky enough to have children are seeing it as a burden and getting rid of them. I do respect other people's choices however... I just do not agree with it in my condition.

I've had a pregnancy scare this year, and we considered abortion, but we both decided I couldn't live with it, and he wouldn't want to do it either. So, I doubt I would get one, unless situations change
