good baby shower games and activities?

I'm having a baby shower and I need some ideas!

I saw one that they played on the Duggars tv show - melt different kinds of candy bars, but them in diapers, everyone guesses what kind it is.

I love the game where you put about 20-30 items inside of a diaper bag... tell the guests exactly how many items are inside and have them try to guess (write down) as many as they can think of that might be in there.

There was also a game that I played once where different baby items were passed around inside of brown paper bags (stapled closed... so no peeking)... and they guests had to feel the bag and try to guess what was in each numbered bag... and write it down. Person with the most right wins.

Um... Then there's, of course, many games such as crosswords and puzzles, etc. that you can easily find online to print out and give to the guests... set a time limit to do it in.

I just had my baby shower and did a game with blue string(since im having a boy) and had everyone pass it around and cut a piece off that they thought would wrap around my belly. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and we got a bunch of laughs cause of how big people thought i really was!

At my cousin's baby shower she did a game where she broke the people up into 2 groups, and each group had to come up with as many songs with the word 'baby' in the title. Like 'rock-a-bye baby' 'baby it's cold outside' Basically anything with 'baby' in it. The group that has the most song titles wins, and gets to choose one of their songs off of their list to make the losing group sing. It was a lot of fun. xD

At all 3 of my aunt's baby showers, she did this game where half way through the baby shower, they took the mommy away from the group, and had everyone see if they could write down exactly what she was wearing. Whoever got closest won a little prize or something.

I also remember the animal game, where you have a list of animals and a line next to it, and each person has to write down as many of the baby animal names as they possibly can in a certain amount of time. (Like Cat- Kitten, Elephant- Calf, Seal- Pup, Turkey-Pult) They have lots of things online for it, you can google it. =]

You could play guess the weight.
Make a big table of different weights and everyone writes their name next to a weight that they think the baby will be when born and then you keep that and you can look back when the baby is born and see who was right or who was closest.

I like a lot of the ideas you are getting. A lot of them are games I have played at baby showers in the past. There was one game where a person would go around with clothespin and people would try to fit as many as they could in one hand. They would then count up the total and at the end the person who fit the most clothespins in their hand won. It was a different game but kind of fun.

I remember from my mom's baby shower with my brother they played a game where you couldn't say the word "baby" I was 11 at the time and thought it was hilarious because everyone got like three clothes pins and if someone caught you saying "baby" they took your clothes pin and the person with the most at the end wins. It's fun but can get annoying after a while.

Oh... and another game is to start everyone out with a clothespin. Any time that someone hears another person saying the word "baby", they take that person's clothespin. At the end of the babyshower, whoever has the most wins.

I love the game
