I'm not entirely sure but I do know that sometimes when woman start on the pill they can spot in the first year at times, especially if it's the three month one that I've seen advertised every where, they even say on the commercial that spotting is normal between periods, I would say it's nothing to worry about but if you still worry over it, just go get a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.

The spotting could have been caused by your pill. It is a very likely explanation. A month and a half into your pills, you would have been protected against pregnancy. It doesn't sound like you should be worried as long as you are taking your pills properly, but you can always take a pregnancy test just to be safe.

You should be fine, but I'm no doctor. You should take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side.
