pregnancy after abortion and 18

well it's been over 2 years since I was pregnant. I didn't want a kid. My mom had a problem with african american guys. That's what the bd was. I'm sexually attracted to any race really. And I just decided I didn't want to. So I got an abortion. I am pregnant again now just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant. The dad isn't anyone I'm with. But I'm 18 and figure I can take on the physcal troubles of pregnancy. I'm keeping it. I actually can't believe I love it already. Last time it was like I didn't really care either way this time I feel like I can already tell what he's going to look like etc.... Anyway well I guess I'm just surprised I'm back here. I meani never thought I was the nurturing about anything.i guess that's what I feel like. Has anyone ever felt different maternally to their pregnancies?

I've never had this experience personally, but I think it probably has something to do with your maturity level. Maybe you just feel ready this time? Either way, good luck

I have yet to experience the joys of motherhood, myself. You are more older and mature now, and feelings change. What you might not have understood then you are starting to realize now. We are constantly growing and learning and it is beautiful, yes?

I don't know how I would have felt getting pregnant in high school, I imagine I wouldn't have been too eager to go through with a pregnancy and raising a child either. But with my son I loved him the moment I found out he was apart of me as well. I'm sure its just the fact that you feel older, more mature and ready to handle the situation.

My story is a bit different.
I was pregnant in high school and miscarried. I'm a graduate now and thought I was pregnant again (negative test, still no period).. But I definitely feel more ready than when I was in high school.
We still feel the same though our circumstances are different.

i have had an abortion but i felt like keeping it but i was little like 12 and i knew i would be killed if i kept it by my parents but i know what you mean how you feel they are all that matter its your child you feel attached to it before its born its and amazing feeling and after that i dont think i can ever go through with a pregnicy without thinking of my lil girl or boy i could of had

I don't regret it but I still feel very attached nd it's essentially the same thing. Idk sometimes emotions don't make sense really.

its an unreal feeling having a life forming inside of you, alot of moms have an instant connection while others don't feel it until they hear the heartbeat. I think its different for every person in every situation.
