Update

Hello, everyone. If you don't know who I am, that's either because you're a newer member, because I changed my username, or because you simply just don't know me.

I'm Chelsey... previous username was Mommy.Wife.Student.

Anyway, I haven't been on here in awhile. So just thought I'd check back and say hello. Kaden is 22 months old... We'll be celebrating his 2nd birthday this September. Oh, how time flies!

He's such a smart little fella', learning new things every day. He knows a lot of animal sounds, says "please" (still working on thank you), he knows what many, many objects are called, but only says a few right now.

Here are some pictures of my handsome little man.

He LOVES to be outside and is usually not a happy camper when it's time to come back it. He loves water... swimming, sprinklers, baths, anything that allows him to play in water. His favorite toys are cars, trucks, trains, anything like that... and he loves to color pictures and draw. He's definitely kept this momma busy so far this summer. But I'm happy that I have a small break from school to be with him during the day.

I'll be finished with my AA degree next Spring... then on to the nursing program.

We're currently trying to have another baby... but if it doesn't work out this month, we'll have to wait awhile longer... probably at least a year because I'm pretty certain I could handle two small children while doing the nursing program, but I couldn't be pregnant while in the nursing program because of the frequent doctor's visits, not knowing when little one will arrive for sure, and such... So we'll give it one last month and if not, we will be waiting a year or two. It makes me sad to do that because I wanted Kaden to have a sibling close in age (2-3 years), but if I finish the program first, he'll be almost 6 years old or more before we would have the opportunity to have another.

So I guess we'll just have to see what happens. Everything will work out either way. I'm just so lucky to have Kaden. He keeps me busy and definitely doesn't let me get bored.

I remember you! He's cute. Good luck with trying to conceive as others have said, but hey... if it doesn't work out then maybe things weren't meant to be you know? I've still got my fingers crossed for you.

I also remember when you were still pregnant! It's so odd to see him this grown up now.

It's really good to hear that you're all doing well. Good luck on trying for Baby #2 and with your nursing course!
