You should stop taking medicine and take a pregnancy test.

Lissa is right; if you're pregnant, it's not advisable to be taking Tylenol 3's unless directed to do so by your doctor. Stop doing that, and take a pregnancy test. You've missed a period, so it's probably safe to say that you'll get an accurate result on a test.

Tylenol is actually considered safe during pregnancy.... you should really just try and limit how often you use it.
Like the others said though, if you've missed your period you should go ahead and take a test. It should give you an accurate result by now. Good luck, and I hope you get the result you are looking for. When reality is a prison, your mind can set you free. |

Also although tylenol is the safest of all the over the counter pain relievers when it comes to pregnancy, it still isn't advised to take anything during the first trimester if you can help it. OP Take a home pregnancy test. |

I believe she was saying she was taking 3 pills of Tylenol. Either way, it is good to clear up Tylenol 3 is not safe as regular Tylenol if you are pregnant. As for the OP - I would also suggest a test since you have missed a period. It could also just be depression causing physical symptoms, but the only way you will know if you are pregnant is if you take a test. If you are still unsure after a negative test result, you should take another test a week later. Just because you had unprotected sex does not mean you will get pregnant, but it is possible. Best of luck hun! -Kelly So you have gray hair and you're only 26
that's just another reason I love you... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

She meant Tylenol 3. If she meant 3 Tylenol pills, she would have suggested otherwise. |

Oops. I've never heard of Tylenol 3 :/ I thought she meant she was taking Tylenol, 3 at a time.

Even though Tylenol is safe to take during pregnancy, and I'm not trying to undermine any of the mom's here, I still think it would be best if she stopped taking them until she finds out if she is or isn't. Since none of us here can tell her, she has to find out of her own, and then I would consult a doctor about taking it. On every medication, including creams (I read this earlier) have a warning that if you're pregnant or breast feeding, to consult them before use. |

I haven't been on here sorry for the mix up. I have been taking 3 tyleonals pills whenever i feel bad. I have to drink something so i won't throw up. I know its crazy for me to keep saying Possibly pregnant but I'm not really grown up about this. When me and my ex (baby's father) were together he helped me be grown up about things and i helped him sometimes. I don't have anyone around that will understand me besides my besties but thier in like 10th grade and they can go in the store without embarrassment and buy one, well atleast the guyfriend can. (A shame i know) I can't walk into a store and buy things like that. I barely like to buy my own pads so my mother usely does it. My ex isn't being very nice to me and refuses to come over and talk about it, so i don't have anyone here to push me. I feel so alone on this. My family critizes everything i do thats wrong, and then my mother makes me seem like im a very horrible child when im not. & This is going to make it worst. The only thing i need is for my ex to take me to the planned parenthood place, but he refuses to come over and talk. I'm trying to give him some time because he said im agrivating him, but being depressed, feeling sick every morning i wake up isn't working for me, i text him and ask. I guess i have to give it a little longer than a few days now.

You shouldn't feel embarrassed about purchasing pregnancy tests! If the shop owners didn't expect people to buy them, they wouldn't be stocking them in the first place, no? If you have a friend (guy or girl) who can buy one for you, perhaps you can give them the money so they can buy one for you. The Planned Parenthood in my area is also a wonderful place. I was nervous at first to go in by myself the first time I had to pick up birth control, but it is a really nice environment. They are understanding of situations such as yours. They may offer counseling services for those who are pregnant. Do you have anyone you can talk to, including friends or others? Sometimes we need to look a little bit further than we expect to in order to find support, but I promise you it's there. I'm here if you'd ever like to talk, feel free to contact me if you need or would like to.
Take care, Sylvie |
