positive test or seeing things? -

Hiya,
I was just wondering what your thoughts were on this test. I took it yesterday afternoon so not first morning urine. http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums/...=IMG_03291.jpg It's an early response test which I took four days before my period is due (I'm due on wednesday). I took it because we have had sex without protection this month and I've been fairly awfully tired / sick the past two or three days. Can you see a line or am I seeing things? Thanks

I see one line... I'm not familar with that test so I'm not sure what a postive is supposed to look like. But I definitely see one line... Lol.

Have you read the instructions on the box? It should clear up most if not all of your questions. On most tests a positive result will show up with two lines. I only see one line here. Perhaps you should retest later with first morning urine to get a more accurate result.

As far as I know, ONE line means not pregnant.
If you DONT see a line, then the test had an error and you need to take a different one. So you have gray hair and you're only 26
that's just another reason I love you...    |

I thought I could see a second line further to the right that was really really faint but I guess not. Tbf this photo isn't very clear. If I don't come on then i'll retest again.

I think I see what you mean, but it looks more like the "water line". Where the test stops and just turns into a piece of the test and not the strip itself.
Test in 48 hours to see if you can still see it, or just wait until you've missed your period. I say 48 hours because some women can get a positive test, then retest and it's gone due to a chemical miscarriage. But, I don't believe that was a second line. I see the other line you're talking about, but not sure if that is where the line is supposed to appear.

I would highly suggest taking another one first thing in the morning whenever you get one. I see what you mean and it is part of the test but it is really hard to tell, just wait a bit and take one again in a few days.

It is in the right place as before I took it apart it was in the test window but I can't tell if it's an evap line or an actual positive as it's so faint. I've read up on the reviews of this test and they're absolutely awful, wish I'd known before I bought it. Loads of people get false negatives on them, one woman even at 7 weeks pregnant! I just hate the waiting but I guess I'll see what happens on wednesday.

Wow how did YOU see that!?  Anyways, yes definitely test again. Also be careful because you can get false positives if the sensitivity is high. Best of luck

I would retest and if you keep getting a faint line and confused go see your doctor. I had pegnancy tests that were confusing and it was better to see the doctor at least in my opinion.

If it's a case of a bad brand then I would say you could probably even go now if you wanted to and try a different brand, one thing some people do is take multiple tests, like 2 or 3 at a time different brands, to get some seriously helpful results, but if the line is still faint on those or you take multiple ones with different conclusions, you should go see a doctor for their test.

thats how my test was too..
 it was one dark line and i thought it was an evap line... and now im 8 months prego.. OH NO!! what if my test was wrong... >.> i have an alien in me?? lol thought i could try any make u laugh :P i can take a test NOW and it will say neg lmao.. idk im all back asswards :P

I would recommend taking a digital test first thing in the morning, after you've missed your period. Or at least try different brands
