Pregnancy Test -

I had unprotected sex two weeks ago and I think I might be pregnant. I was wondering how soon can I take a pregnancy test? Is it best to wait till after my period if due? I just don't like the idea of waiting to find out.

Usually 14 days after sex is a good time to try. Especially if you're noticing symptoms. If you want to wait to see if you missed your period, that's okay too, but if it's been 14 days since you had sex, it should be a good time to take a test.

Audrey's right. 14 days (or two weeks) after unprotected sex should give you an accurate result on a pregnancy test. However, symptoms this early are really unheard of. It might be best to wait and see if you miss your period.

I know how tough it is to wait. So, I ended up buying bulk Pregnancy Strips (not tests). This is just the tiny little strip at the end of pregnancy tests. They are usually just over $1 each. So you can buy a lot. Unfortunately you have to buy them online, but it comes in a discrete package.

Well you could also buy some tests from the dollar store, they are just as reliable and only $1, but check the expiration date because they do expire.
