Good news!

I just talked to my mom (it was soooo hard) that i want to keep my baby!
Shes being sooo supportive telling everyone shes gonna be a grandma saying she hope its a girl! I can't believe this! Proud mommy to be!

Also instead of giving me a non-shalont answer like idc or idk my baby's father said he hope we have a girl!

I'm quite glad that you were able to speak to your mother honestly about the pregnancy. You should be acting on this pregnancy for the best interests of yourself and of your child. It must be quite a relief to have your mother's support at a time like this.

Any advice to give me to keep my baby healthy??? I've been not eating that much more than i was when i was not pregnant. I eat more little snack foods than i do big meals. I can go a whole day with just eating breakfast. I've also had uncomfortable pains withh laying down i find no relief :\ anything i can buy to make it feel better??? Its it honestly neccessary i breastfeed??? I don't think i'd feel comfortable doing that...my chest doesn't appear to have gotten bigger anyways ( im still an [Edited by Angel]!)

Not yet i have to go to my personal doctor friday an my mother gonna ask her for a good doctor that i go to get all this.

You do not 'HAVE' to breastfeed your baby.
It's going to be your choice, but I would suggest reading up on the benefits of breastfeeding before you decide which way to go. Also read up on formula feeding. That way you have information and can make the choice as to which is better for you and your child.

You don't have to increase a normal diet by much to accomadate a pregnancy. A normal woman eating healthy only needs to add about [Edited by Boxxy] calories a day to her diet, although snack foods and eating only breakfast are not healthy for you, let alone the baby you are carrying. Have you been taking a prenatal vitamin? If not I advise starting to take one. If I remember correctly you are already about halfway through your pregnancy correct? You have made one decision already, which is no doubt one of the toughest you will ever make. However, as a mother to be, you now have a lot more decisions to make. You need to coose a health care provider and start getting prenatal care. Also no, you do not HAVE to breastfeed, but it is healthier for the baby and yourself. Do some research, start researching everything now and don't stop. Research any and everything! Best of luck to you!

No i haven't taken any prenatel vitmains yet. I go to my first OB GYN visit friday! I'm kinda excited & scared! I don't necessarily like a stranger probbing my private areas like that! I've always been a child when it comes to things like that! & I am halfway through my pregnancy, i seen an estimated due date which is around march. & The breastfeeding thing, um, definally not my forte.

You should start pre-natal vitamins IMMEDIATELY! Especially folic acid.
The developing baby is most susceptible to deficiencies in the first few weeks of life so the sooner you start, the less likely the chance of defects.

They are available over the counter and there is no harm in taking them.

In medical school we have been told that the earlier you start taking them, the better and that it is best to start before you get pregnant but in the case of an unplanned pregnancy, you should start taking them as soon as you know you are pregnant.
However, if you are further along in pregnancy, if you were deficient in folic acid amongst other things during early pregnancy, there are greater risks of defects such as spina bifida and these will not be corrected by taking the vitamins late in pregnancy.
That being said, it won't hurt to take them

If you are halfway through and have not seen a doctor yet, then yes, go to the store and pick up a bottle of pre-natals. Or two bottles of Flinstones, and take two finstones a day.

Either way, your baby and your body need the vitamins, so better to start now then to continue waiting.

So i had my first blood drawn & PAP smear todayy ughh it was HORRIBLE. But the guy was really nice. I'm glad that won't be done again till time to deliver! & My due date is somewhere in March (The father's birthday month!)
