16 years old and thinking about babies ??

Hi , I'm 16 years old and for some reason I've really been thinking about having a baby . I want a baby so bad , i want to have one now . I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year now and yes we are having sex . I'm not stupid , I wouldn't do anything to purposely get myself pregnant neither me nor my boyfriend have a job at this point and we are both still in high school . I wouldn't want to bring a baby into this world when i can't take care of him and he/she is only going to suffer . I do not plan on having a baby anytime soon , not until me and my boyfriend both have jobs and a steady home . But , I would like to know why I've been having so much thought about having a baby now . Does anyone have any ideas ???

It's just a natural stage in life. You're body is trying to say that its ready, plus there may be other factors involved that deal with your own life and the need/want to have some1 to nurture and love etc. Glad to see that you're waiting till you're out of school and have everything ready before having one.

i posted something similiar to this a few months ago haha. from the responces i got: it's perfectly normal and apparently most girls around our age think like that at one point or another. some more than others (like me) and it's natural. your body isphysically made to be able to reproduce, so hormones and all that good stuff is probably getting to you also. have you talked to your boyfriend about your thoughts on this? if not, it might be a good idea. if you have anyone you can babysit, try that. thats what i do! good luck.

It's something that every girl goes through I think.

I'm sixteen as well and I want a baby more than I could even begin to explain. I love babies, and I want one of my own right now.
But like you said, I would never do anything to purposely get myself pregnant, and I'm just going to wait to have one until I know that I'll be responsible enough to take care of it. I want one soooooooooo badly, but I know I need to wait until I find someone who I'm happy with, and who can handle being a good father.

When I was 16 I wasn't thinking about babies, I always wanted one with my ex of 3 years and he gave me one now he's being an assholee :/ make sure you know that persons gomna stay I haven't had it yet and its already haryd being a single mom and my first semester of college is sucking bc of all this.
