I'm Late O_O

I posted awhile back about what happened (and my chances of being pregnant) But:

My last period was around the 22/23rd of October. I was really stressed, so it was late I'm assuming then and went off the patch because it was making me physically ill and I got my period I think again b/c I had spotting earlier that month. I usually get my normal cycle around the 15/16th of the month.
I had unprotected sex (first real time, it was horrible and I didn't really want to do it but I can't say it was rape) the 14th of November. I bled but I don't think it was period blood for like 2 maybe 3 days tops with it slowly decreasing after awhile. There wasn't like clotting like normal, and it was blood. There was some but I'm assuming it was the remains of my "Cherry". (I was sore b/c he was much too rough b/c I wasn't sure if I was a virgin actually, don't ask, but he was kinda high and blah.) I told him to use a condom, he told me to shut up. He pulled out but when I asked if he did anything inside me he said barely, then said no when I asked again. I know he didn't fully cum inside me but my guess is he did a small amount. I did bleed, but I am assuming it's not like it washed it out or whatever, I don't know?! But anyway as of today I have had on and off extremely light spotting but my guess is thats from me being sore. I took the Plan B pill 24 hours after unprotected sex (meaning i took it the 15th) I've been nauseous and had an upset stomach since then, had a little cramping, but not a full period and slight spotting now and then. I'm not sure if I'm pregnant... It's been 10 days since unprotected sex, when can I take a test?! Could I be pregnant? Plan be is supposed to make you like a week late sometimes, but should I have had it by now?!

Taking the Plan B pill can seriously altar your cycle, so this may be what you're experiencing. I can't tell you if you're pregnant or not, but since you DID take the pill, the chances are very unlikely. Usually, you could take a test about 14 days after unprotected sex, but you may be able to find a pregnancy test that can determine a result a few days before then. I think it's safe to go ahead and take a test now, since what you could be experiencing is implantation bleeding, which occurs when conception takes place.

Thanks, and what if possible maybe percent chance or so would you say my chances are? I hope I'm not... Like I've heard as high as 27% or something and as low as under 1 %. I don't know how reliable google answers and such are haha :sweatdrop:

Since you took the morning after pill 24 hours after unprotected sex, Planned B is going to reduce your chances of pregnancy by 95%. That's a pretty high number, and I don't think you should have a cause for concern. Planned B will altar your cycle, like I mentioned. You may experience some odd bleeding after taking it, which I think is what you've experienced. You can find out more information by this website, which is where I found out MY information for you. If you don't receive your period, then I would take a test. But, again, don't automatically assume you're pregnant. You took the Planned B pill within the alloted time, and it's reducing your chances of pregnancy by a great amount. I'm going to say you're probably experiencing the side effects of the Planned B pill, which is cause for the odd spotting.

Thank you I'm still going to take a test in a couple days, probably Tuesday or Monday which would have given me a solid two weeks since then and I think you're supposed to wait 2 weeks after unprotected sex, correct?

Usually 14 days is the standard, yes. Your best bet though would be to wait until you're period is meant to come to see if you've missed it. Even after two weeks, you could get a false positive or false negative. That wouldn't very reassuring. Just remember: don't stress. Stress can equally reduce the chances of your period not coming. If you want to take the test on Monday though, make sure you read the directions and take the test first thing in the morning. The hCG or pregnancy hormone is more potent in the mornings.

Thanks it's just I don't know when my period was supposed to come, and I don't want to wait too long, ya know? If so, I've probably already missed it I think. Like, I had on and off spotting around the middle of the month when I was supposed to get it, very very light for 2 days, then it stopped, then had bleeding from sex, then it stopped and it wasn't blood like period blood i don't think, and I had spotting on and off, usually quite light since then.

Just remember, like I said on your last post that if you kept stressing that could also make you miss your period, you could have missed or be late for multiple reasons, the morning after pill is one and not to mention if you have been stressing like I said last time that could make it late or make you miss it altogether. I know it's hard but you seriously need to calm down otherwise you'll work yourself up more and have a hysterical pregnancy which it seems like you may already be starting. A hysterical pregnancy is when you worry and stress so much about being pregnant that your body makes itself think it is by giving you "symptoms" like feeling sick or craving odd things, I know, that happened to me. Just calm down, take some deep breaths, do something relaxing and in about 4 days go buy a test to ease your mind even more because the chances of you being pregnant are honestly less than 1%, just calm down and if you can't stop stressing take a test in a few days. Take a few if you have to to calm your mind, but you need to calm down before you stress so much you get a hysterical pregnancy or cause an ulcer or something. Just calm down.

I'm not convinced I'm pregnant though, and honestly I'm not too terribly stressed, so symptoms are probably more likely from the morning after pill's hormones, and I get similar symptoms from my hormones fluctuating. Plus there's that nice little 5% or so chance Plan B didn't work O_o . Like I'm a little worried sure, but not to the point where I'm like OMG IM PREGNANT HOLY CRAP! Mainly I was just checking when it's okay for me to take a pregnancy test, and I guess 14 days after sex would be fine? Especially since I'm not so sure when my period would have been or if I missed it. Thanks

Ok well it just came across that you were super stressed in your posts. And according to sites if you still don't get your period before 3 weeks since taking the morning after pill you should take a test, but I would just do as you are planning and wait a few days to take a test, and like I said, you can even take a few if you want to.

Ahh well crisis averted (I think) I got my period today, like I'm still going to take a test, but goodness I've never been so happy to have cramps, cravings, and be moody haha Thanks everyone! This chick is getting right back on birthcontrol in a couple days since this was a lesson to you never know what can happen, and I definately don't want any little bundle of joys for awhile haha
