You can't take a test this soon. Wait about 2 weeks. Then take it.
Take it in the morning because the pregnancy hormone is always the highest in the morning.

The above poster is right; it's too early to test. You need to wait TWO WEEKS (14 days) in order to get an accurate test result. Here are some tips on taking pregnancy tests:
  • Make sure the expiration date hasn't passed. You don't want to get home and realize the test has expired. The test won't give you an accurate result.
  • Wait two weeks to take the test. This will give you an accurate result.
  • Make sure you read the directions so you know you're doing it right.
  • Take it first thing in the morning, when you first urinate in the morning. The hCG hormone, or pregnancy hormone, is most potent in the morning ensuring that you get an accurate result

So, just give it time. Your body wouldn't even know it's pregnant yet, let alone TELL that you're pregnant. I know this will be a lot easier said than done, but you need to remain calm. Stress can cause your period to be late, along with changes in diet and weight.

If you've only been having your period for a couple years it could be that it is still regulating. I've had mine since I was 13 and they still sometimes don't come when they should. Last year I even missed my period for two months, but then it came back.
Don't stress over this, 6 days is too soon to tell. Wait for two weeks and then take a test.
