What do you look for in a guy?

I figured the girls were getting all the fun with a similar thread, and decided to make one like it for us guys.

So what do you look for in other guys?

Strength, manliness. Truly cares and knows when to be funny, and knows when to be serious. Likes guy things, getting sweaty, but has a softer side. Ohh, he's out there somewhere...

I'm not very shallow, personally, so looks aren't all that important- but a cute face DOES help. As for build, I'm happy so long as my partner doesn't resemble a pile of sticks. I like a little extra meat, whether it be muscle or puppy fat. I'm a little chubby, myself, and I'm happy I am.

Personality-wise, I've learned from past experiences that it's difficult for me to deal with depressive males. I'm a magnet to drama- people love coming to me with their problems, looking for advice, or a shoulder to cry on, and I'm too compassionate to have that in my life twenty-four/seven, because I have a tendency to take their problems on my shoulders. As such, I like bright, cheerful guys, particularly if they're moderately intelligent, energetic, and open-minded. I like guys that are willing to experiment, try new things.

In terms of intimacy, well... I like cuddly guys... REALLY cuddly, clingy guys, because I'm the same way. Once I'm attached, it's hard to pry me loose. I can go forever without sex so long as I've got someone to hold and hold me back. On the subject of sex, though, I'm pretty indecisive as whether I'm a top or a bottom- I tend to meld to the other guy's needs, just because I'm REALLY loyal, and eager to please. I'm honestly a little frightened to take a larger member, despite that it IS something of a turn on, but I'll try to accommodate for such a thing...

All-in-all, I'm not picky. I'm happy to have a happy guy that loves me and cares for me. I don't really look, that's too stressful... I just kinda wait, and hope I get lucky...

I would have to say I'm more into the masculine too. I'm not very tied up in appearances, but because I like the masculine look I'm into guys who have those kind of features. Muscles and body hair are a big plus for me. Hugh Jackman is my physical ideal. I suppose I kinda go for older guys as well, just because they tend to be more developed physically and mentally.

Personality wise, I'd say I'm really not into feminine men, but I don't like the steroid-induced macho either. I like someone who's masculine but still sweet and tenderhearted. I need someone I can take care of who can take care of me too, so I'm not looking for a guy whose perfect, just one who is perfect for me. I'm usually very confident, but occasionally I get down and I just need someone to reassure me that I'm special to them. I've very physical and need a lot of contact, hugging and whatnot is a big need for me.

Intelligence is a big requirement for me. In a perfect world I'd have someone just as intelligent as I am, so that neither of us felt dissadvantaged, so I'd prefer someone around my intelligence. A little higher or a little lower. I need someone who is creative as well, and someone I can talk to about the deeper things in life. I'd want someone who is very spontaneous, because I can get frustrated with people if I get too used to their behavior. If I can predict exactly how you'll react to any situation it can start to get annoying.

I'm a virgin so I can't say much about sex, but I'm not crazy about the whole top/bottom philosophy. I'd kind of enjoy wrestling around if that makes sense . Equals and all that. I really don't know if I'd be crazy about anal, the idea kind of turns me off so I think I'd prefer other forms of intimacy. But if my partner really wanted to do it, I'd man up and do what I needed to.

they need to be funny because i like to laugh, friendly and intresting and can speak openly and honestly. someone who doesnt say they care then ends up hurting you, someone who doesnt lie or cheat, i go for guys on their personalities i dont care too much for looks although they need to have nice eyes or a cute smile. Also a guy who doesnt care about sex all the time and would rather chill out and watch a dvd all cuddled up in bed.
