I am gay but I don't really think about it? - October 9th 2016, 07:44 PM

Like I don't get aroused when I see a naked guy. In nonsexual settings. I have no sexual feelings whatsoever for women and I don't really find anything about them sexually appealing at all. I don't really watch porn but if I do I get slightly excited with gay porn. But not much of anything still. And nothing really gets me hard exactly. I feel like maybe I'm just dysfunctional. I had sex last Friday with my best friend and I liked it but I don't think as intensely as he did and I didn't again get hard exactly. I don't really want a relationship with anyone either. But I think maybe that's just because I'm messed up. I do have autism but on a much lower level. Like I go to a regular school. And all that I just forget some words and socially I'm not like clingy or anything. I don't normally though care that much about sex and I don't think about it often at all. I think about when someone else brought it up usually. And I don't really fantasize much. I masturbated I guess for the first time when I had sex but outside of that I don't really like doing even that. Is what I'm describing actually gay or something else included?

Sexuality is so damn confusing. You are fifteen years old you have a lot of time to figure things out. I am 25 and I don't put a lable on myself at all usually. I would say don't really worry about it. You will figure it out when the time is right. But it does sound like maybe you are asexual Here is a link that explains asexual but again you are 15 I wouldn't worry about it too much.

"Don't walk behind me; I may not lead.
Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow.
Just walk beside me and be my friend"

Hey there,

The mountain of labels that can describe a person's sexuality can make it difficult to figure out exactly what you identify as. No one can really tell you what categories you do and don't fall under, as sexual identity is specific to the person giving themselves the label, if that makes sense. That being said, it is possible that you're asexual. Essa gave you a great link explaining some of the basics of what asexuality is, so I definitely encourage you to check that out and do some of your own research as well.

At the end of the day, the label isn't really what's important. As long as you're comfortable with you are and what your personal sexual preferences are, I wouldn't stress too much about it.

Take care,

wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul
and a vibrant heart for the unknown.
