LGBTQ+, Sexuality and Gender Identity This forum is for you to explore your sexuality and identity, whatever that may be.
I'm doing a project and I'm curious about learning about LGBT history.
They don't teach that kind of stuff to people in school (at least not mine)and really should be taught. It would really let people understand more about the LGBT world and promote tolerance of the LGBT community.
If anybody knows a good place to start looking for LGBT history please let me know. Thank you so much!!
I recommend a local library. There are plenty of books on LGBT history out there. I recently had to do a report on gay rights and marriage, and I found some fantastic books. Gay Rights - Kafka, Tina Gay Marriage - Friedman, Lauri S. Homosexuality: Opposing Viewpoints - Dudley, William
I'm sure there are more, but those are some titles I used in my project. Good luck searching.

Oh, and take a look at the "LGBT Resources" sticky. It's bound to have something you can use as well.
