Hey. I'm honestly having trouble sorting out what my sexual orientation is. I'm not attracted to a lot of girls (very few in fact). Honestly, I'm curious about how guys look nude (normal...I think) but I don't mind seeing breasts either. I just don't know how to figure it out. And no matter what I discover I want to embrace it, but I don't know if I'm ready to find out that I'm gay/bisexual. I don't want to be subjected to all of the hatred and injustice that these people face. I honestly don't even know why I posted this...I just felt I had to.

Hey there! Honestly, it's not something you can force yourself into figuring out. I know from experience that you'll just figure it out eventually, and over thinking it won't help. You're still really young so you've plenty of time! And, people are more accepting than you might think.

Well it seems like a lot of my friends know and everyone keeps asking me. I know a lot of people who make fun of people for being gay (or even if they AREN'T gay). Plus, in society in general there are so many people out there who aren't accepting at all. In my state, homosexual couples can't even marry. I'm just not ready to discover that I'm gay/bisexual and I really want to know what my orientation is since it seems that all of my friends do. Idk...

Don't pay attention to other people. Sexual orientation is a very complicated, private matter. I too have had all my friends (and pretty much everyone else in my school.) calling me gay since I was 13. Were they right? Yeah but they don't need to know that. Don't worry about it for the moment. If you're not ready to figure it out yet then just try to put it to the back of your head.

For me, it was the first time that I realized I had a crush on a guy in band with me, I just couldn't stop staring at him, and I was all flustered whenever he talked to me.

Looking back, he wasn't all that attractive, but hey - that's what made me realize I liked guys.

If you ever need someone to talk to about this, let me know, okay? =] It can be scary and confusing, but you need to remember that sexuality isn't just gay/straight/bisexual. There are a lot of degrees of bisexual - I'm so close to the 'gay' end that I've identified as gay sometimes because it was just easier. But I know guys who identify as straight, with exceptions. (One of them being my ex boyfriend, in fact, haha.)

All in all, obviously we're here to help you, but this needs to be something that you find out on your own. And just because people call you gay as an insult doesn't mean they won't be accepting. I've had people go "what, are you gay or something?", meaning to insult me, and just looked at them and gone "Uh, pretty much. So could you stop?"

One of those people would be my current roommate, by the way. =b And he's fully accepting of me and the guy I'm dating!

So... I'm not entirely sure what I was trying to say here, but just don't let the general public scare you away from being who you are. =] I'm a nerd, and I'm proud of it - even though I get made fun of a lot for it, even though it limits both friendships and relationships at times because I'm just /too nerdy/, I just shrug it off. It's not quite the same thing, but I feel the same way about it - being (possibly) bisexual is just part of who you are (maybe). =b

dude don't worry what people think, if someone asks u if ur gay or straight say i will love someone not based on their gender but who they are as a person!!!!!

Forget everyone else. Sexual orientation can take a looooong time to figure out; it's a confusing thing! I swore I identified as a lesbian.. and then I found myself attracted to a guy after a 2 year relationship with a girl. So now I identify as bisexual if anyone asks me. I think I'm just more attracted to the person and I don't really care if they are male or female. Just be you and don't worry about what other people say or ask. You'll discover yourself at your own pace.

First of all you sound extremely mature for your age, and I'll have you know that this is a question I see quite often from both girls and guys alike.

I honestly feel as-though its just a curiosity phase some people go through. I think its such a shame that gay people get treated as they do but the public.

In my personal experience I've noticed that gay people are really friendly and out going, And a blast to hangout with.

I'm a guy obviously and I'm 100% straight however i can't say i didn't go through a little phase when i was younger, its all natural mate.
