bi curious male, need help - July 24th 2010, 07:59 AM

well what im asking is what to do, im 16 and bi curious. i just need help on how to go about finding someone like me and wanting to try stuff. i only have a few friends but they're far from bi curious and only 1 knows of me being this way. so some good advice would be helpful and thanks.

Well, you obviously know the risks in it getting out that you're bi curious. You open yourself to bullying and other forms of homophobic hate.

I think being curious about doing sexual stuff with another guy is more common than most guys will admit. I'm glad that you're willing to admit it for what it is. I understand you wanting to find someone outside your circle of friends to experiment with.

My usual advice is to try to meet as many people as you can to give yourself greater odds on finding someone. Are there any straight/gay alliances where you are, maybe at another school? Affinity groups you can be a part of to meet people with similar interests to yours? If you shop on the internet, be very careful about telling anyone any information they can use to find you: you never know who you're talking to. If you choose to meet someone that way, choose a neutral place with other people around.

well there are no gay alliance groups that i know of in my school or my area. thanks though.

haha that you know of that the thing.
I gusse you can get your friends to ask around about other guys that are gay/bi?
Or just keep looking & dating people.
& you should start a straight/gay alliances at your school then ^_^
