National Coming Out Day! -

So, it's National Coming Out Day here in the U.S.[don't know about other countries  ]Anyways, has anyone come out today? Or recently? Are you celebrating National Coming Out Day? Hope everyone's having a great day!  Great works are performed not by strength, but by perseverance. PM me anytime <3 |

I never knew this existed, haha. But it's awesome, although I don't think alot of people actually decide to come out just because of this day..?

Well, it's also an awareness day.
Oct 11th was chose as the day because the first National March on Washington for LGBT rights was on that day...sometime in the 80's. On National Coming Out Day there are usually a lot of events for the LGBT community/supporters to take part in and just raise awareness. I'm not sure that there are many that actually wait around for Oct 11th to come out...but...some people do. Great works are performed not by strength, but by perseverance. PM me anytime <3 |

My college had a giant curtain in which you could walk through and "come out" as an alliance, gay, transexual, ect.! It rocked <3

I came out to my parents about 5 months ago, and same with my boss. One of my brothers found out in July, and the other one in September. My parents told my grandparents last night when they came for dinner. They are all 100% supporting me, and are happy that I'm happy.
