So I've been out to certain friends for a while. I decided to come out public (other than to my parents) so I posted on Facebook "Hi there. I'm gay. Have an issue with it? Questions? Comments? Inbox me. I'm done with this whole "closet" thing." I've received nothing but love and support so far. (:

I can't say I understand completely what that was like for you, but I do know many gay/bisexual/transgendered people and know that coming out is absolutely not an easy thing to do - so kudos to you for taking that step, and especially with such a great attitude! I'm really glad you're having such positive reactions so far, and I'm very happy for you!

Congratulations on coming out! I understand that this process can be a pretty stressful one sometimes but the fact that you have taken this step just goes to show how strong you are so well done, you should be really proud of yourself. And just a side note to all those who said they would do the same thing if their parents did not stalk them. It was really liberating. Its been an amazing process. & I had my brother on my facebook so I adjusted the privacy settings so he cant see my relationship, interested in, and certain posts. Oh and I wont add any other family :P Its always been my rule haha. They all know now haha "When you live forever
