Question: How do you find out if a guy is gay without directly asking him? :/
I've had a crush on a guy for like months and I really like him but I dunno if he likes guys :/ He's says he's straight but like all of his friends say that they are convinced he's gay Quote that made me laugh from one of them: "He's not gay...but he MUST be?!" I want to know if he's gay or not and it's driving me insane but I don't wanna just stroll up and ask him Anyone got any suggestions? :/ |

Guys sometimes joke about their friends sexuality so what they say could just be them messing around.
If the guy says he's straight then he could just be in the closet but if he's denying it and he is gay then maybe he's not ready to have people know yet. Unfortunately, the only way you're going to know for sure is to ask him. Perhaps say "I know your friends say it all the time but are you actually gay?" or something along those lines.  |

There's no way of knowing without asking directly. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but it's the truth. Trust me, I know from experience, lol. The only other way to find out is to find a time to kiss him without asking, but that usually has awkward results. Just because it worked for me once doesn't mean it'll always work out. xP

I'm gay, and i don't look like the 'sterotypical' homosexual.
I'm very much 'one of the lads' - going the pub, playing rugby ect. but like i tend to be more comfaterble around girls, i use to (before i 'come out') i use to shy away from girls in clubs and stuff. If you live for ever?

I see what you guys are saying, but I'm not risking embarrassment or having him dislike me over it :P
I really like him and honestly I'd rather just have it the way it is now than not be able to talk to him ever I guess if he does like guys he'll come out when he's ready Thanks for the replies though xD |
