Cool Officially Out - April 21st 2011, 03:12 PM

Well I guess that I'm officially out of the closet now, but even though it didn't really turn out the way I had hoped; I've got nothing but support from my closest friends and some rather not okay jokes from a freshman at my school. I'm sorry that I can't help it if I'm into both girls and guys. It doesn't change who I am. Yesterday on the bus the two guys that I happen to like alot were discussing the gay community/marriage. I didn't really hear the whole thing because me and my friend were trying to explain to the freshman that everyone is a little gay or bi......now if only I can tell my parents, not like I haven't made it obvious or anything. Apart from telling my parents the only other problem is when I move and "IF" I make any friends should I tell them or hide it for another 17 years?

You're bound to receive immature comments or meet people who don't agree with it but don't let it get to you. You are who you are and if you're okay with that, who cares what other people think? Good luck with telling your parents as well, I hope that when you finally do, it goes well.

As for when you meet new people, it's down to you whether or not you tell them. The way I see it is though, when making new friends straight people don't go "Hi, I'm so and so, I'm straight." So, why should we do the same? So, I keep it to I'll tell you if it comes up sort of deal, if that's any help as to whether you should tell people or not.
