Sorry I just need to rant to someone.
Some idiot decided today to tell me that because I'm lesbian that I'm a sinner and I'm going to hell and that I had no chance of forgiveness etc. I know I shouldn't have let him get to me but I couldn't help it, I go to a Catholic School but almost everyone else is fine with it and most of the people that aren't, don't have a go at me. But this idiot decided to. I love my friends though, as soon as I ran out the classroom they all had a massive go at him stupid thing is he's not even that religious.
Right, rant over, sorry I just needed to have a rant to people who know where I'm coming from

I like to think that for every one person who is against gays, there are several others out there that will no matter what stand by your side. Your friends proved that! I also like to keep in mind that the one kid who picked on you and who is against gays, has yet to actually know someone close to him as gay. A lot of people who were once homophobic, change once a loved one comes out. I give the benefit of doubt too much.

Then there's the other side of me, when someone debates gays being sinners, I like to toss around other things from the bible, such as, no cutting your hair/beard, cotton clothes, eating certain meat.

Stay strong. He is one person, that isn't important. Who is, are the friends who stuck by your side 100%.

I don't believe in God personally, but the way I see it, if there is one, and He created everything, then that means he also created the LGBTQ community. And since he loves all of his creations, he therefore loves you. I think that being attracted to women, be it emotionally, physically, or otherwise, is not going to get you sent to hell. Don't let it get to you.

Also, some people do things like this just because they like seeing the other person get upset. If it ever happens again, just ignore it. I wish I could say there won't be anymore hate you have to deal with, but sometime it happens. Society is still evolving, and while there are some people who will let you know how they dislike your sexuality, I think that as long as you have supportive friends, you'll be fine.
