Needing a lil advice... -

I so badly want to ask my mom to call me by my real name. I'm kind of- no, really- afraid, though. She's only talked with me about it once since the last time I told her my gender identity, and for a couple days after that, she seemed like she was making a point of calling me Bobbie (ugh boy do I hate that name
 ).I'm just looking for a little advice on how to talk to her about calling me by the right name and pronouns...  |

Have you tried to explain your thoughts to her about who you are? Maybe she just doesn't understand where you're coming from. I think it sounds like you two need to sit down and have a heart-to-heart about everything that is going through your mind. It will be tough at the start, but after it gets going, it will be easier. Hopefully after that you both will be more comfortable around each other.
