There's this girl at my work and she is so awesome and amazing and gorgeous but I'm not sure if she's straight or bi. She used to date a bisexual male and I know she has a lot of gay/bi friends so she's really open to stuff like that but I don't know if she is actually bi or just queer-friendly. Anybody have any interesting ideas on how to figure this out? I don't want to ask her directly or anything because I still have to work with her and don't want to make it awkward!

If you notice her dating or flirting with girls then that's a clue to her sexuality (although a lot of straight girls flirt with their female friends). There aren't really any foolproof ways of telling, particularly if someone is experimenting but not actually bi.
One way of finding out would be to ask her on her views of LGBT, or to ask her to an event which in some way relates to it. Try to find a way to open up a conversation about it. Good luck. If you're open about your sexuality, then bring it up indirectly. Bring up an ex, or someone you may have been with.. Something like that. So let's say, she likes this musician.. Be like, "oh yeah, my ex-girlfriend liked them.." etc.. because that way if she is, she'll know that you are.
