How long have you known that your Sexuality and Gender Identity?

^^' Just wondering.

I'd love to say I've known my sexuality for about a year, but that was only wondering (being excited at the notion of your friend liking you...) I realized around october-november I think, I'm not sure, and then a while ago I realized I'm pansexual.

I found out, earlier this month that I'm not exactly female (so yes, I am getting use to the idea of me being pangender or FTM)

I found out I was was bisexual sometime at the start of the school year for me. I started school sometime around September 7th.

I fully admitted to myself that I liked the same sex when I was in the 6th grade.. so about 7 years ago. But I had crushes and stuff on friends before that, just never wanted to think about it much.
My sexuality is still fluid though. I don't really confine myself to any specific sexuality.

I have always identified myself as female. From the sixth grade on I've known I've liked females but I'm still not completely certain if I'm a lesbian or bisexual, really. =/

I've always seen my self as female. But I've had feelings for people of the opposite sex and same sex since I was about 10 years old, recently I realised I was pansexual when I realised I would happily be with anyone of any gender.

I guess the first time I ever thought I might not be straight was at the end of 8th grade (2 1/2 years ago) when I danced with a girl at a school dance. I realized I was bi at the beginning of 9th grade, and first came out 2 years ago.

I guess I came to realized I was into girls when I was 15/16. Looking back, however, I wonder how the hell I didn't clue in before them. I'm still not all that sure about my sexuality--I guess I am not strictly homosexual. haha.

I think I've always had this feeling in the back of my mind that I'm different (in that I've never really been interested in dating girls, and sometimes have felt more of a pull to guys), but I really started officially realizing which way I leaned at the beginning of last school year.

Ever since I was about 12 I noticed that I sometimes found girls attractive as well as boys. When I was 15 and 16 I experimented with being Bi a little. When I was 17 I realized that I am Bi and possibly even pansexual. I am 20 now and I am still not sure weather I am pansexual or just Bi but I don't think it matters too much because either way I won't mind and I am engaged already to a guy .

I've known that I'm bisexual for 3 years though some of that time I was mixing it up with lesbian, but now I'm 100% sure. It just takes a matter of time of knowing what sexuality you are.

Unlike a lot of kids, I grew up with my aunts who were lesbians, and so I've always known about and accepted the LGBT community. That's just how I was raised. My parents were never homophobic, nor was anyone else in my family, including my grandparents. (It took them a long time to accept my aunt -- their daughter, but they eventually came around because they saw it made her happy and they loved her girlfriend/current wife.)

Despite this awareness, I always assumed that I would be straight. I never liked boys, but I figured it was something I'd grow into. It wasn't until I was 12 that I first really started to question my sexuality. I began to notice these feelings that I'd had for certain girls throughout my life and began to put two and two together. However, I did not fully accept it until I was 15. When I was 17, I got with my current girlfriend, and that led to a whole other level of acceptance. Not because it was "confirmation" of my feelings, but because it helped give me the courage to come out and see how wonderful my sexuality truly was in that it allowed me to get with someone so amazing.

I think discovering your sexuality is a process. It may not be something you come to know for sure over night. For many people, they discover it over a period of a few years through various experiences that they encounter. There is no "set time" where people are supposed to know what their sexuality is, either.

I've always known, but I haven't always been attracted to the same thing. I think sexuality is an evolving thing in people, and peoples sexuality could change given time and the right circumstances. I'm sure some people would agree with me.

^There's no way you CAN get it wrong. Your sexuality is your sexuality--there are no errors to be made. You don't even really NEED a label

I realized I wasn't straight in 8th grade, that I liked girls in 9th grade, started coming out in 10th grade, and realized I don't like boys last summer, so I'm out as a lesbian now. As for gender identity, I can honestly say I still don't know.

I've never really had any issues with gender identity, so I've known I am rightfully a girl for my entire life, and I've never though differently.
I've kind of wondered about my sexuality from a really young age. I went through a phase where I thought I was a lesbian, but I started to recently think I was bisexual. I came out to a few people not too long ago, so 16 really, though like I said, it's been something I've been personally debating for a long time.
My best friend seemed to know I was bisexual before I did, though.

I'm 18 and I honestly have no idea about my sexuality. I've been interested in girls for as long as I have been interested in guys. I currently have a boyfriend, but I've also noticed that I feel closer in connection to girls. I can't come out because I don't know what I am. It scares me, being from the south...and in the bible belt..and my entire family being (Holiness) Pentecostal Christians. That's an automatic "go to hell" card right there, literally, for them. I feel like I would honestly rather be with a girl..but I care about my boyfriend. It's so weird and I'm so confused. But, that's life.

I've known that I was bi since part way through grade 9 and I'm in grade 10 now (can't figure out the math ). I think I prefer girls, much more attractive than guys. Can't really say much since I've never dated or anything.
