I have never had this happen but I can say that you aren't gonna stop loving them right away. Even if you have moved on and been with other people there is still going to be a love that you feel for your ex. Usually relationships are a lot more intimate than hook ups with other people or flings with other people. So, I personally, feel like the love you feel for her is normal.

This never happened to me, mostly because I never really or a variety of reasons. Any how, I agree with Abibliophobe. It takes time to get over a relationship. Hell, it took me a few months to get over a FWB relationship (which strangely carried on for years). You get emotionally invested in things, and it can hurt no matter what side your on, even if you chose to end it. It just takes time.
