Straight from Hamlet - November 6th 2019, 07:37 PM

Dear TeenHelpers,
so... I kinda, eh, don't know how to explain all this. I've been in a relationship for 2,5 months now, it's the first romantic relationship ever for both of us. I feel like I sincerely love and care for my bf. However, there's a guy I'll call M. We met in June and kissed a few times, but decided to postpone any kind of potential relationship till the end of summer holidays. Then we both travelled, we hadn't seen each other for two months, we quarrelled A LOT over Messenger and phone. But! When school started and we met up in October we kind of talked about all these situations and our fights and came to an agreement. Mind you, I was with my boyfriend at that time already. And where was my current bf during holidays? Well, we met each other two years ago on a camp and had decided to meet once again this August. Yeah, out of nowhere, basically. And somehow, it all happened. So the thing is: since my reconciliation with M I've been thinking. And I came to a conclusion that I have some sort of feelings towards him. He told me he'd like to be with me if I didn't have a bf etc. But at the same time, I have sincere feelings for my bf, we get along really well and it's fun for me to spend time with him. Yet, there's something with M, maybe the feeling that if I was in a relationship with M it would be way more turbulent, but more adventureous at the same time.
I'm afraid that with such mixed feelings I'll eventually lose both of them...
Lots of love for all of you.
xx S

Being with M would probably be fun at first, it's something new and exciting. But that will wear off eventually, and then what are you going to do? You say you have a turbulent relationship with them, that's not something you should put yourself into. Why break things off with your boyfriend for something that might not even work in the long run. You say you care about your boyfriend, and I think you should stay with him because things seem to be working out well for you now.

Just my two cents.
