What do guys like on Valentines Day? -

What would be something special to get a guy on Valentines day? I know they're not the giant teddy bear type...candy I'm assuming.
Last year, I made my boyfriend a personal card and got him a lot of candy, but this year I wanted it to be really special, especially because he won't be here for the real Valentines day so I want him to know I missed him... I have been with my boyfriend for 2 valentines days. We don't do much for it and we agreed to stick to a card and a small gift. We usually spend around £5 on a gift. We are both students and don't have too much money and we both think Valentines Day is a bit of a stupid holiday.
Once I got him a picture frame with a picture of us in it. Another time I got him a jokey present of lovers coupons. This year we have agreed on just cards because my boyfriend has literally no money. I have some saved so I might get him something little but I know if I get him something he will feel bad that he didn't get me anything. This Valentines day I planned on baking him cupcakes. He said to me I shouldn't bother since he doesn't like any home cooking other than his Mum's. His Mum makes amazing cakes so he has been spoilt by them. So now I am getting a recipe from his Mum to bake them so I know he will like them. Also it isn't expensive so he won't feel bad about not getting me something. lol my gf asked me because she's from a different culture where valentine's day really isn't celebrated so she asked me lol. So I told her to get me some headphones, I always need new ones lol, something useful, and maybe some candy. IDK what she's gonna do I think a surprise is the best thing considering this is the first time I'm getting a valentine from a gf I can't wait lol. I'm gonna get my gf some flowers, and make her some chocolates
Maybe you could do that make him some homemade chocolates and I'm gonna play her the song I wrote for her birthday but never could play by then lol.

Hey thanks guys! Everyone had really awesome ideas.
I'm not sure my boyfriend is the teddybear type... But maybe a stuffed dinosaur. I think he might like that. Lol!I was thinking about baking him something...but I'm terrible at baking!! Lol. But I was thinking some mint chocolate cookies (his favorite) shaped as hearts. Good? God, sometimes I wish I was gay! Yeah... still wondering though. Mine is the same way, with the not hinting at all. I asked and he was like "I don't care, I'll like anything you get me." It's like.... grrrr can you be sweet another time?!?! Lol...

Suppose you could just ask him Something practical he'd use is quite a good idea ... get him a soppy card to make up for the fact that the present isn't lovey dovey. Not sure what to get my boyfriend ... I've got myself a new sexy babydoll and I might wear it, buy some chocolate body paint or some massage oil and give him a good night in But he might prefer a present lol x

last valentines i was with my ex and i didn't have any money so i couldn't buy him anything nice so i just said 'my gift to you is my unconditional love..' haha, i was actually trying to be funny.. but it came off waaaay cheesy. but anyway, we broke up like two weeks later.. so i wouldn't recommend this idea.

what I'm doing this year for my boyfriend is making him a scrapbook page and putting pictures of us and debate team (we're both on the debate team) on there, and some quotes from some of his heroes (mostly political leaders) and I'm also going to write out some chinese calligraphy (because I'm just that special hahaha).

me and my boyfriend have this joke between us as i think he is always touching his hair and sorting it. Which then lead to him looking in every shiny surface he comes across just to annoy me. So i'm thinking i'm going to get him a pocket mirror as a joke and then a "Man-Slag" top which is another joke so yeah i suppose you jut have too think what he would like.
On the chocolate body paint be careful where you get as some of it doesn't taste so nice (my and my friend got it for a party on time it was horrible. Funniest party game ever though) RR xx |
