I told him, and he likes me!! As a friend. How can I get over it? I really liked him, and I think I still do. I don't want unrequited love. Help!! |

i used to feel like that about a friend. it was hard to get over in a way. but in time you may feel differently. you cant change how you feel. try to move on, but stay friends with him. you love him because he's your friend. so sty friends. its hard to cope but its possib;e

The more you're around this guy, the stronger your crush will get. It sucks, but you might need to distance yourself from him a bit in order to "get over" him. It will be rough, but just imagine how much more it would hurt if he got a girlfriend and you still liked him? Good luck! :] This is a tough situation to get through.

I've been in that situation before, it actually made me want to push them away and never hear from them again, there's no other sure way to get over them because I really liked them that much more than just being a friend. Some other times, it was that they wanted to stay friends and I would accept that notion and then try hangout with them as usual, but of course there be the situation where the reality would be that this person doesn't really want to stay friends and just want you to go away.
 You just move on by continuing on living and changing, it's never the end of the world, but always their loss.  Good luck with you.

The same thing happened to me recently. We basically didn't talk for about two weeks afterward and then everything went back to normal. I occasionally still felt something for him for a couple months but then I moved on to someone else.
