Do you think it is okay/a good or bad thing for a girl to ask a guy out first or to ask him if he likes her or to admit to having feelings for him first?

I think it's great when the girl makes the first move, whether it be asking him out, admitting her feelings for him, or asking how he feels for her.
It's just so refreshing after all the years that we're all taught that GUYS make the first move because they're DOMINANT (which is so not the case) When the girl makes the first move, it's outstanding, and I applaud any girl who will go against the grain and be the assertive one.  I hope this was an okay answer to your question, Samantha.And if you're thinking of making the first move in any case, I definitely say do it

I think its incredible for a girl to make the first move. It shows a lot of courage and gains a lot of respect. For a girl to break the gender stereotypes and go after what she wants is rare, but very appreciated.
I hope all goes well and I wish more girls out there made the first move! |

Well obviously I'm not a guy but I figured I'd put in my two cents anyways. I say go for it. If the guy likes you back I doubt he'd say no. Besides..you may never know if you don't say something or act of it. =) (That being said I'm a bit of a hippocrite on this one since I myself am too chicken to do that) But ya..I say go for it =) Let us know how it turns out!

Your supposed to ask out the girl, but if they asked us out, it would be soooo much easier.

Although it has kind of become the "standard" for guys to ask girls first,
I personally would have no problem with a girl asking me first, whether that be my feelings on her or asking me out. And ultimately if you dont ask him you'll just be waiting for him to ask you your feelings on him So i would go for it, i think it would definitely be a nice surprise for him

I'm not a guy, but all of my guy friends say they love it when a girl asks them out/shows interest in them. They tend to see it as really flattering.
If your thinking of asking out your guy friend, I say DO IT! I fell for a guy friend once, who I ended up telling him I liked him. Turned out he had really liked me for months but was too shy to ask me out.
