Akward situation...? -
September 19th 2010, 04:11 AM
okay, this is kind of long, so i'm sorry....
my friend was dating an older guy, got in toruble because he was older, so her dad threatened the cops on him, so then he dumped her,and now she hates him. but within all of this, i started talking to him. and i kinda of like him now... but he's trying to get over my friend and he wants me to help him "get to know" this girl that he thinks is cute, that i know. and i'm trying to be a good friend and be helpful, but i feel akward about it, and i don't want to, because i like him. a couple other friends told me that he seems like he likes me, and that we;re both pretty flirty, but i don't think he does. we're newly friends, so i don't wanna tell him and freak him out, and i don't wanna piss him off by not helping him get this new girl, and i don't think i should even like him because he's my friend's ex! but he's so nice. and cute. and funny. kind of annoying, but we have so much in common. :3 what should i dooooo? |

I've been dating my friends ex for over a year, (and this could be because we are guys) but i've never had a problem with him getting mad.
So I think that even if you start to date him, your friend shouldn't get mad at you, it was your choice, and no one else can make the choice, that is your right as a person. |

You said that your friend's dad MADE them break up, so is it possible that your friend still had feelings for her ex as well? Because if that's the case then things could get sticky very easily. I would just be careful.

I just think the situation sounds fishy... May I ask how much older this guy was than her?
