Ignore or Makeup??

So my ex and I broke up last week and it has been really hard for me. Especially when he broke up with me because he wanted to mess around with other girls, so I get to see that everyday at school He got mad at me for not wanting to be best friends again after that right away, so a couple days later I was going to call him up sayin I wanted to try to be as close as we were before...But that was until this girl Irene (one of the girls he has been messing around with) says on her myspace status should I still be his baby cakes or move on?? (Note: he used to call me that all the time) then she said you have 3 girls trippin over u and u say you wanna be with me so bad, yet we arent even together (Note: he told me he wasnt lookin to be in another realationship) He tells me he cares for me, yet he is telling all these girls these things that really break my heart So I called him up and told him I cant play his games anymore this is too much for me and im done....ive been ignoring him for about 3 days now. He has tried calling me for about 2 days and then he just stopped and I guess on Irenes myspace status they went to the movies together...So should I keep on doing what im doin by ignoring him?? Hoping if he really cared for me he will start to miss me or try to make up with him after he just ripped my whole entire heart apart?? I dont wanna seem weak that im goin back to him, its just really hard because me and him were best friends before even going out and i miss him </3 but obviously if he goin to the movies with someone else then I guess he forgot about me already...

I'm so sorry he broke up with you, and for such a horrible reason!

I personally think that you should just forget about him and ignore him. He seems like an utter waste of space. He's messing around loads of girls, and he left you to do that! He's not worth your time.

It's rare that a break up will lead to you being best friends again. Atleast not for a while. Just keep that in mind.

This guy obviously hurt you really bad - and it sounds like he's really messed around with your feelings.

The trouble is, when you 'get' with your best friend; it can be awkward when the relationship ends. I've been there, and I've got the t-shirt, luckily it was mutual between me and my best friend that we wanted to just be friends.

I think, that you need to move on from him as a lover. He hasn't treated you in the best of ways, and you need some time to heal. Give him some space, go out with your friends, and find yourself again.

Then, and only then, would I advise you go and talk to him. Tell him how he made you feel, tell him you'd still like to be best friends.

It's a complicated situation, and it doesn't always work out. Its often difficult to be 'just' friends with someone you've been romantically attached to.

It might be, that because he left you to get with other girls, he had already decided he liked you more as his bestfriend.

There's lots to think about.

It doest take time, it took about 9 months for me and my ex to speak without arguing... We're ok mates now.
