Probably a stupid question but... -

Okay so i need some advice. there's this guy at school and he's a year older than me (im in grade 12, he's doing an extra year because he's from california and needs extra credits because some of his old ones weren't transferable or something) and i've gotten a crush on him. BUT he was dating my friend before and they broke up. It wasn't the best breakup but they're pretty great friends still.
I really like him but i don't want to upset her, you know what i mean? One of my friends know's and is of course being super supportive "oh no she won't mind" bla bla but that's just the type of person she is. GAH  i feel like an idiot because i like him but i feel bad and im just to guilty and shy to do anything about it.help?... |

If you like this guy, and want to pursue something, it's best to talk things over with your friend. Ask her if she wouldn't mind if you two went on a date. If she says no, then go for it. If she says yes, you may want to reconsider trying to pursue anything with him. Friends mean more.

I would talk to her first because if she was dating him you have to make sure that this friend will support you. Who knows she may totally support you and let you date him but you can never be too careful.
