So in this forum we have so many threads about relationship issues that I thought it needed a little light and appreciation for our loved ones.

What do you love about ur partner? What are some of the cute things you do together? Do they have any endearing quirks? And anything else you'd like to add!


So I'll go first- with my boyfriend (shh it's a secret :hehe) I love how he comes up behind me and puts his hands on my hips. It used to really bug me but after we got in a huge fight and I thought it might have been the end (we got through it) I really appreciate it and find it to be a cute quirk. I also love it when we joke around and he picks me up.

But to answer your question...

I love many, many things about my partner. I love when he cooks for me, or when we go for walks late at night or on days that are chilly and cloudy. I love how when I am sleeping restlessly he'll wake up and pull me close to him, or how when I have a bad dream he will tell me everything is okay, even if I am still muddled with sleep and confused. I love the look he gives me when he wants to screw my brains right out of my head. I love how every time his team makes a goal on his soccer video game, he leaps up and hugs me so hard and so enthusiastically so quickly that it scares me half to death. I love how when we hold hands he often just holds on to my thumb. I love dancing and kissing in the rain with him.

As for quirks, we are pretty goofy people. We both like to break into spontaneous song and dance, to the same song, at the same time (and we had not planned it). We like to steal each others' various clothing accessories (and in my case clothing...I kind of hoard his shirts; he has been asking for me to give some of them back for months). He also likes to eat, for some unknown reason, doritos and garden vegetable spread, which I think is disgusting (I did try it once just to say I did), but I think it's one of his quirks. He doesn't mind or think it's silly when I pace back and forth while I am daydreaming, as he does the same thing. We also are addicted to World of Tanks. It's like crack to us, and we play whenever we can.

I guess to sum it up, meeting him was one of the biggest blessings I've had in my life. For God to grant me someone who fits me so perfectly, and who loves me just as deeply as I love him, is a true treasure. And I do hope to hang on to that forever.

I love boyfriend, long distance is hard but I feel like despite our age difference we are on the same level we both kind of dorky and have a love for old video games, somewhat morbid things like the band called twiztid we're both kind of sedistic. and he is a masochist which i love about him because no matter how rough our ideas get i feel like he's the one person i'd be %100 percent comfortable to try knew things with.

One of the biggest reasons I love him is because he listens to all my bullshit, he always knows exactly what to say even when he thinks he doesn't, he's the one person who will always put up with me at my worst and he's still so good to me. I love how he stays up late and wakes up early so we have a chance to talk at least once a day. Sometimes we don't get our chance but we always make up for it. He's funny and understanding he always makes me smile when i don't want to.

and he's got an adorable obsession with cute things like bunnies, kittens, puppies and he's always sending me cute pictures of these critters because it makes me smile or he takes the extra time to go back and use just about every emoticon he possibly can to make his emails look like they're full of stickers or how he teases me about my huge stuffed toy st bernard we named troy together and how he's going to steal him for cuddles. but at the same time he's still so masculine and protective over me, he accepts i am a fighter and i kickbox, which means i will get hurt but he hates when anyone really hurts me outside the gym he gets protective. and even sometimes when i come home full of bruises he just wants to cuddle and take care of me. I love that he's always so polite about things and feels horrible if he's said something wrong he feels ashamed that he made me feel bad. again, he's so good to me. I used to be %100 against marraige but maybe one day when i get to be with him I will reconsider he's so perfect for me.

See, I've seen the movies and I think doing things like that would seem cheesy or cliche. I'm always afraid to do stuff like that. I really like this girl at this store, I need to figure out what she's like before I ask her out, though. She is so gorgeous that every time I go to the store, I use my card instead of cash, that way she won't feel my hand quivering. My boyfriend and I have been dating for nearly 3 years, and honestly, I love almost everything about him. Of course, there are those little quirks that get to me, but that's part of who he is and I love him for it. We know how to push each others buttons, so when we bicker, we always end up laughing about it afterward.

We have a few cute nicknames for each other: He calls me Mo (Short for Moron, and he doesn't mean it in a mean way. It's because I'm a blond and I tend to act like it sometimes ) and I have the standard ones for him: Babe, Sweetie, Honey and my favorite Doc (We used to call each other Dopey and Doc, from Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs)

I particularly love falling asleep with him. We like to cuddle, and it's like my body shape was made to fit in the crevices of his body. I just...love everything about him.

Alex and I have been dating for 3 months and it has been amazing! He always knows how to make me smile and if he thinks im upset he'll but his xm radio on the country station which i find adorable. Plus hes so social with everbody which i love and my family seems to really love him. He respects me and doesn't pressure me and hes making me something for christmas at his work idk what it is but im excited!

He's the biggest sweetheart in the world and we love to cuddle together and just enjoy being together. His only quirk isn't really his fault; he has anemia and an iron deficiency, so he sleeps aaaaaaallll the time. His power source is slim jims.

He always listens to what I have to say and always knows how to make me laugh. He soothes my insecurities about myself and never fails to tell me how much I mean to him and how beautiful I am, especially when I'm feeling down. He's protective, but not possesive, and never tries to pressure me. He supports me in all my dreams and wants to help me achieve them. He's loyal and kind and loves to hold me to him and tickle me with his scruffly chin. When my life starts going downhill, he's always just a phone call away to help me climb back up the hill. He covers me with a warm blanket of love and affection, and keeps me safe from the monsters in my life. He lets me cuddle on him, and if I fall asleep he won't move, even if I've put his arm to sleep. I always feel safe in his arms, and he makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. He takes care of me and protects me, always by my side. He loves me for the crazy, goofy, hyper dork I am and accepts me completely. He's my big strong bear and he's always there for me.

My boyfriend is a very thoughtful person. He listens to me and he also does me the respect of telling me the hard things for him as well as the easier ones. He also makes me laugh, and discovers neat things together with me and we just have fun together sometimes, like playing around. Also he doesn't pressure me to do anything I am nervous about doing...he is a bit older than me so that one is important. =)

I love my boyfriend Alex so much.
We've been together for 3 months and it's the best. We were each other's first kiss, and I always make fun of him because...well... he missed. :P
He does this thing where he'll say my name in an awful French accent and it reminds me so much of the lobster thing on Finding Nemo. It's cute.
He doesn't call me babe, or hot, or any of that. He calls me beautiful. He doesn't have a cell phone, so we only get to talk if I see him at school, or when he gets on Facebook--which is only a few hours. But it makes it better, I think, because I have more things to say to him in person. I'll wake up and just a simple message saying "Good morning, Beautiful." makes me smile like an idiot.
He's also a mega nerd. Which I love the most. And his hugs are the best. Just the way he looks at me, I know he truly cares about me, as I do him.
I am thankful for Alex, and I don't know what I'd do without that boy.
