Hopeless

I've come to the point where I just kind of feel hopeless in finding my ideal guy. I don't attract the type guy I'm interested in and I watch my friends get engaged to men I could only dream of being with. It just isn't going to happen for me. Que sera sera - thats my short rant

19 and getting engaged? Don't worry, you're still young and you're definitely not the only 19 year old whose still single.
You don't necessarily have to look a certain way to attract the type of guy you want, nor do you have to act a certain way. Whats important is that you get to know each other. Don't give up just yet, love will find you when you least expect it. A lot of people say that once they stopped trying so hard to find someone, they were able to actually find someone. Point is, don't stress yourself out too much about this. You're still young and you'll definitely meet lots of great guys.

The best way to meet the kind of guys you are interested in is to hang out where those kinds of guys tend to go. I know this advice doesn't work in every situation, but most of the time you can generally figure out where they might go. Try concerts, for instance, or maybe cafes. It all depends on what you like.

Besides, though, very few people find the "ideal" guy for them, usually because "ideal" isn't very realistic. Don't limit yourself; try to get to know a guy before deciding you don't want to be with him. You might be surprised by who is hiding from you in plain sight.

You'll find him. You still have plenty of time plus i think 19 is a little early to be getting engaged. Just stay positive. He will come around the corner when you least expect it.
