Question She doesn't like me but I like her how should I ask her out??? - November 25th 2011, 10:29 PM

How can I ask a girl out that only knows me as a guy who acts a bit childish at school (I'm grade 10 sophomore) and doesn't know me for who I really am like inviting her out to the cinema, but I'm afraid that she might reject me and since she's in my class she might make a problem for me like tell the other girls he did this and this then they'll probably make fun of me or cause she's in my bus it might be hard facing her and stuff so what should I do but I really want to ask her out to the cinema to see the new twilight movie.

If she doesn't like you, then no, you shouldn't ask her out. You can't force someone to like you, and you can't force them to have feelings for you at all. It wouldn't be worth it since you pretty much already know what her answer is going to be, which would be 'no'. I wouldn't put yourself through that.

I agree with this. If she doesn't like you then I don't see why you'd ask her on a date. You already know the answer, and it isn't fun getting rejected.

Well, how do you KNOW that she doesn't like you? If you are just assuming it, then you don't actually KNOW.

If she doesn't like you, do you really want to ask her out? I see where you're coming from... If you do ask her then if she says yes, great, and if she says no you'll have closure. And so that's what I did. I asked, looking more for the closure than the love, if he was still in love with me. So the situation is a little different... We were already dating... We were in love, but he wasn't anymore. So he told me this and we broke up. Even though deep inside I knew what he would say, the closure didn't help. It hurt. Pretending I had a shot and day-dreaming the outcomes was so much better than crying until I ran out of tears. So if this is the case, move on.

If that's not the case, then great! You SHOULD ask her out if you think you have just as good a chance as anyone else! Just do it sooner rather than later. Because if she does say no, it'll feel a lot worse after wasting more time thinking about her. I would rather a guy ask me out face to face, rather than through a text, note, friend, or facebook. But if this is impossible for you to do, you could try calling or writing a note. What I usually do when I'm going to ask someone out is try to prepare myself for the worst. Try to trick my mind into thinking it's already a no, so then if they say yes it'll be great and if they say no i'm ready for it. I think this is plain weird but it works for me(:

Good luck, and I wish you the best.

If you know for a fact that she really doesn't like you then you shouldn't ask her out because you are just setting yourself up to be rejected so there really isn't any point because you know the outcome already.

If you're just assuming she doesn't like you then go for it, just take her aside and tell her that you know you might come off as childish at times but you'd like it if she'd go to the cinema or something with you sometime so you can show her that you aren't always childish and you'd like to get to know her more and see how it goes. If she's going to make fun of you for doing that then she most likely isn't worth your time.

Hello again(: Then you should show her what you're really like and good choice for the movie! If you think she is nice, then I don't think she'll tell anyone. Take her away from her friends and ask her out in private if you feel uncomfortable doing it infront of her friends.
