Girl Crush - I Need To Get Over This!

So bit of background a few months ago, I posted about one of the girls who works behind the bar in one of our local, regularly frequented pubs. Very beautiful, kind, lovely person. I realised this and it took its toll on me, I fell hard! After a few drinks and playful, fun banter one evening, I ended up hugging her and she hugged me back. Apologised for it next day and she stated; "dont worry about it."

Anyhow, I just cant get this girl out of my head...I become a quivering wreck in front of her and cant hold a conversation. My eyes follow her around the room and I dont even realise it. I'm not gonna deny it, I like the feeling of it but at the same time, its starting to drive me a little bit crazy cos I know nothing can ever come of it and I just want things to be normal (well whatever "normal" is!!)

Yes, I do have a boyfriend and he doesnt mind one bit (he has a bit of a thing about me and her running off together actually) but I'm driving myself barmy.

I need to get this woman out of my head, she's taken up residence there without my say so and she's all i can think about, in short.. It's driving me bananas.

Don't feel like this is a bad thing, its always good to follow your heart. If you feel like you might want to be with her, then take a break from your boyfriend. You cannot get over a crush. Its not that easy

This may not seem like fun, but cutting off contact can really help. If you don't see or talk to her for awhile, its much easier to get her out of your mind. Out of sight, out of mind.
