Hey.

I've moved this thread to Relationships and Dating, where I feel you'll get more relevant answers.

Good luck.

I think the best thing you can do right now is have a talk with him. He shouldn't be getting upset when you are hanging out with other guys as you two aren't together. However if he's ignoring you and inviting other girls over rather than you, then it doesn't really seem that he likes you.
My best guess from this is he likes the attention you and possibly the other girls give him.

Well I’ve lost it all, I’m just a silhouette,

I agree with Nicole, first and foremost you must talk to him and see what his deal is. If he doesn't commit to you, then yes, I've had a friend like this before. He treated some girls terribly and kept some of them on "the hook" as it was referred to by How I met your Mother. This is where they want to keep you around in the case that he tries for a relationship with another girl and she doesn't want one, but he doesn't have to be alone as long as there is another girl waiting for him.

But that was just a guy I knew, and it could be a different case with what you are in, as you really do need to talk to him one on one and figure out what he's thinking. Don't leave until you have a real answer!

Re: Help!!!!! - April 4th 2012, 03:20 AM

Three possibilities come to mind:

1. He's not interested in you, but he still likes it when you fawn over him, hence the jealousy when you bring other guys over.

2. He's interested in you, and he's purposely trying to make you jealous/interested in him by bringing other girls over.

3. All of these girls are just friends, but you're jumping to conclusions... and the same applies for him with your friends.

Two possible solutions:

1. Rather than trying to figure out how he feels, tell him how you feel and see how he reacts. If he makes a move, great! If he's still ambivalent/unclear about how he feels, then it's probably time to give up and move on.

2. The next time you see him pouting, call him out on it. You could even be so bold as to say, "That's funny... you look the same way I do when YOU bring girls over! That's why I assumed you were upset, because that's how I feel when the tables are turned." That might lead into an honest conversation about how you two feel about each other.
