Like Jade, I much prefer pencil eyeliners. Not only are they easier to control, but it just seems like you can have more fun with them, if you ever decide to try something funky and mix colors or anything. I apply it to the top and bottom.

I also find eyeshadow to be VERY fun. Eyeshadow can actually replace eyeliner, if you want. Eyeshadow is fun to play around with and try new things with, and you can get all sorts of colors.

I tend not to use much foundation or anything, as it makes me feel cleaner. But I find powers to be best.

Mascara is tricky. A good trick to separating your eyelashes, when they stick, is to use a safety pin. It's totally scary and I wouldn't recommend it, right away, as there are other things you can use (brushes, for example, made to brush through your eyebrows) but the safety pin works well, for me. Don't pump (go in and out) your mascara, turn it around, just like you're unscrewing it.
