To edit your email simply go to your user cp (the far left link at the top of the page) and go down the list in your user cp until you see the section with settings (I think it's settings and something else) and it says edit your email and password (I think), that is where you change it.
As for deleting your account, you cannot do that (it is not an option). If you wish to do this, the best thing to do would be to go through all of your posts and everything else you have written (your profile etc) and delete everything.
