-Study groups. These only work if you have already revised your notes and know what you are talking about cause then you can have discussions and better your understanding on the topic at hand.

-Drawings. Especially for biology. I'll take a big piece of paper or bristol board and get bright markers and draw all my diagrams in really big. Post it up on my wall and just look at them over and over again.
