I'm not different (poem) -
January 15th 2009, 02:34 PM
Just something I wrote for RE homework. Please be honest it's kind of a joke, but i'm not usually good at this writing stuff. Just say what you think and what I could do to improve it. Also do you think I have any sort of talent in writing poems? again be honest.
I'm Not Different
My hair may be pink,
And my teeth may be green,
I may be able to last a week,
Without using my spleen,
But although my friends are cyborgs,
And my dad comes from Nepal,
I have got to tell you,
I’m not different at all.
I may like carrots,
My middle name’s Adolf,
And I must surely be the only one,
Who actually enjoys golf.
But please try hard not to tease me,
‘Cause I’ve got no genitals,
I have got to tell you,
I’m not different at all.
My skin may be black,
My sexual preference men,
And my mum makes me go to sleep,
At ten minutes to ten.
You may think I am so weird,
And not even close to cool,
But again I’ll tell you,
I’m not different at all.
When you see someone,
An alien, French or queer,
Or maybe a guy who’s overweight,
And also has gonorrhoea,
Please don’t laugh or point or stare,
And act like a freaking fool,
‘Cause we know these people,
Are not different at all.
